FAQs

Quick answers to the questions I hear most. Tap a question to open it.

Does it cost anything to enquire?

No. Sending your trip brief or a WhatsApp message is free, with no obligation. You only pay once you have seen your quote and are happy to go ahead.

Can I make changes to my itinerary?

Yes. Every package includes up to two rounds of changes before anything is booked, at no extra cost, so you can adjust timings, swap activities or add anything you forgot to mention.

Can your prices change?

Prices may change from time to time, but once you’ve paid, your price is locked in and won’t change.

Do you book my flights and hotels?

It depends on your package. With Quick Escape you book using the links I send. With Out of Office I book either your flights or your accommodation. With The Whole Enchilada I book both. I can also book and manage your attractions and activities as an add-on: R500 for up to 9 bookings, or R1,000 for 10 or more. Before booking, I confirm each ticket’s type, price, schedule and duration with you, and once it’s booked I send you my own confirmation with exactly what each ticket cost.

How long until I see my itinerary?

Your mock itinerary comes back within about 7 days of your brief.

How do I pay?

SnapScan is the quickest, and EFT works too. Enquiring is free. Once you're happy to go ahead, 50% of the planning fee is due and the rest before final tickets are booked, or you can pay in full upfront.

Is the cost of my trip included?

No. The planning fee covers research, design and coordination. Flights, accommodation, tickets and experiences are paid separately, and you always see those costs.

Can I change things along the way?

Yes. You flag what to keep, skip or move on your mock itinerary, and nothing is final until it's booked and paid.

Do you handle visas?

I don't process visas, but I'll show you exactly how and where to apply based on where you're travelling from.

What if I need to cancel or postpone?

What's kept depends on how much work has been done, and postponements become credit for a set time. See the Refund policy for details.
